This Research Committee aims to provide a forum for discussion and collective work among political scientists interested in capitalism and its alternatives. Membership is approaching 100 political scientists from around the world and growing!

More specific areas of interest to current members include (but are not limited to) global capitalism and imperialism, extractivism, finance, the privatization of the commons, the relationship between capitalism and human rights and cosmopolitanism, borders and migration, the international division of labor, work and the future of work, and alternative economies.
